HO EBT Car Shop Kit

The car shop in Rockhill, PA, is the location where EBT rolling stock was constructed and repaired. Tracks running the length of the building allowed cars to be repaired to enter from the south end and exit the north end. The building contained power woodworking equipment for passenger and other wooden car repair, as well as rivet forges and air lines for riveting steel cars.

This is the third kit in a series of kits that model the shop buildings in the EBT Rockhill yard. Features of the kit include:

  • As true to the prototype as possible
  • Laser cut floor, interior framing, roof rafters, walls, battens, doors, windows, and sub-roof
  • Corrugated metal roofing material
  • Provisions to build as a stand-alone structure or add to the Machine Shop and Boiler House

HO-scale; footprint is approximately 24 x 7 inches. Photo shows completed and painted kit with part of the adjacent Boiler House and Machine Shop assembled kits, available separately. Photo courtesy of Nathan Kline. Limited quantities of this craftsman kit!
