HO-Scale East Broad Top 1913 25 ft. 9 in. 2-Bay Hopper Kit

In 1913, the EBT took delivery of ten two-bay steel hopper cars from the Pressed Steel Car Company, numbered 800 through 809. These 25 foot-9 inch cars were the first steel hopper cars ever made for a narrow gauge railroad.

Now for the first time, HO scale models of this car are available at the Company Store. These kits include a 3D-printed body provided by our own Ric Case, Kadee arch bar trucks, brake wheel and staff, and decals. Each kit contains materials for one car. Unpainted, couplers not included.

Several cars were converted to side-dump cars and others converted to horizontal doors for slag service. Models of these variants as well as the original center-dumping hoppers are available.
