HO EBT Storehouses Kit

The Storehouses in Rockhill (HAER buildings #23 and #24) contain hundreds of bins of hardware, large and small parts, and racks holding steel rod and tube stock materials for shop personnel to cut and machine into needed parts and tools. Nuts and bolts of all sizes, rivets, pipe fittings from 1 inch to 12 inches, washers, seals, shims, brake parts, stay bolts, pins for link and pin couplers, springs, valves and other large parts up to locomotive side rods were stored in these buildings. The buildings are currently being restored through a grant to the EBT Foundation from the FEBT, and is a major project for FEBT volunteers.

This is the fifth kit in a series of kits that model the shop buildings in the EBT Rockhill yard and is only available at the Company Store. Features of the kit include:

  • As true to the century-old prototype as possible
  • Laser cut floor, interior framing, roof rafters, walls, battens, doors, windows, and sub-roof for construction ease and excellent fit
  • Corrugated metal roofing material

Kits of other shop buildings in the Rockhill yard are available elsewhere on this site.
