The article describes the return to service of the EBT's 1916 Baldwin Locomotive Works 2-8-2 Mikado No. 16 in February 2023. The historic engine moved under its own power for the first time since 1956, and is the first steam engine to operate since the EBT terminated tourist operations in 2011.
