Trains Magazine EBT Rises Again Map

Trains Magazine has reprinted a map for the FEBT, to celebrate the rise of the EBT again as its new owners, the East Broad Top Foundation, plan, invest and bring the railroad back to life. The map shows the EBT region with the mainline and branches of the EBT and portions of surrounding railroads. This outstanding map is filled with historical and current information about points along the right-of-way, plus the location of most major coal, iron ore, limestone, ganister rock and clay mines and quarries. A detailed map of the buildings and track work in the Rockhill Furnace yard is also included. The map uses shading to indicate the general topography of the region. Mountains, hills, valleys, and major waterways are labelled. Elevation and grades along the mainline are also included. A sidebar summarizes the condition of the railroad in 2021 and the reasons why common carrier operations ceased in 1956.

The map is printed on high quality paper and is 11 by 17 inches and suitable for framing or laminating.

Henry Posner III, Lee Rainey, Joel Salomon, Lawrence Biemiller, and Steve Titchenal provided information and assistance to Bill Metzger and Trains Magazine in the preparation of this map. Originally published in the July 2021 edition of Trains Magazine.
